Hyva’s separate ram and tank FC137 tipping cylinder was “the easiest possible choice” for the new additions, says Nick Towens, operations director, adding: “We already know Hyva well by also running their skiploaders and hookloaders. Across their range, Hyva products have proven to be tough, durable and inherently reliable.”
The 420bhp Volvo FMX chassis also feature hub reduction rear axles, enabling the tippers to handle any type of work, on or off the road.
The specification also includes a Charlton SuperLite curved floor steel body with an air operated tailgate.
The Hyva FC137 is a separate ram and tank tipping cylinder, designed for 32 tonnes operation. Easy to install and maintain, FC137 has a typical working weight of 450kg making it the lightest tipping gear on the market, says Hyva, and offering a genuinely heavy-duty performance when fitted to UK-spec 8x4 chassis.
