Maha UK to exhibit at Road Transport Expo

Maha UK is to highlight the features of its new C_RGA mobile column lifts, available in in 7.5t and 8.5t formats, at the Road Transport Expo.

The C_RGA mobile column lifts are said to increase safety, offer smart connectivity and less recharging thanks to the lithium-ion battery.

According to Maha, a double antenna (LoRa radio modulation) guarantees an interference-free operation, even in busy workshop environments. NFC tag pairing also simplifies and secures the connection process. This offers convenience and peace of mind to users. In addition, the electromechanical drive means oil is not required, resulting in little maintenance and a cleaner working environment.

Meanwhile, the ‘Daisy-chained’ charging cables are claimed to guarantee uninterrupted use, providing a back up solution to ensure no downtime.

Neil Ebbs, Maha UK’s managing director, said: “We wanted to ensure any changes would make a positive difference to customers, make their lives easier. The lithium-ion battery, for example, will mean less downtime and more lifts! Also, the new battery design reduces the overall weight of the column, which, in turn, leads to enhanced movability around the workshop.”

The C_RGA’s predecessor, the RGA, remains available while stock lasts.

Road Transport Expo is taking place at NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire from 4-6 June.
