Security seal manufacturer TydenBrooks has launched a device which, it says, will put a stop to the growing trend of theft from moving trucks.
The GlobalTrak Krateus eBolt combines the strength and simple installation of the standard bolt seal with flexible electronic cargo tracking – delivering security benefits, plus condition monitoring and real-time exception alerts.
The Krateus is a reusable, C-TPAT/ISO Standard 17712 compliant, electronic barrier seal. It provides cargo tracking technology, security and condition monitoring which enables asset positioning through GSM mobile, ZigBee and assisted GPS. Exception alerts can be sent by email/SMS and trip reports, tailored to suit each user's response protocol.
