When the scheme launched two years ago, that number was 200. Ecoline parts are 100% genuine MAN parts that have undergone reconditioning.
They cost, says MAN, around 50% less than a new part and come with a full MAN 12-month warranty.
“When there is a parts failure, many people believe the only option is to get it repaired or just replace it with a brand new component,” says MAN managing director Simon Elliott.
“However, we felt it was important to provide a third offering, with remanufactured parts that you do not have to wait for,” he continues.
“Ecoline is proving incredibly cost effective for our customers and it is aimed primarily at older vehicles, mainly between four and 10 years old,” he adds.
MAN Ecoline remanufactured parts are dismantled, cleaned and refurbished, with all wear components replaced – regardless of condition – before being reassembled and inspected.
