MAN Bellshill takes Suckling Transport service trophy

Tankers Dealerships
MAN Bellshill, near Glasgow, is this year's winner of the Suckling Transport service provider of the year award – the second MAN dealership to win the award in as many years – with WG Davies Tenby taking the runner up position.
The award is given to the service provider that has the highest MoT pass rate, best audit scores, highest vendor approval score, and provides the best service, measured through Suckling Transport's ISO9001 registered quality system. Suckling's fleet engineer Daniel Bauckham explains that performance data from the 12 service providers used by Suckling Transport in 2012 for the maintenance of its road tanker fleet was weighted on importance, and MAN Bellshill secured its victory with a 100% MoT pass rate, a very high workshop audit score and high levels of service. Janet Orr and Gerry Ward received the 2012 glass trophy, and Alex Mcphee regional business manager at an MAN review meeting on the 12 February. On Receipt of the award, Orr commented: "At MAN Truck & Bus Bellshill, are committed to improving the level of service we provide to our customers daily, and Gerry and myself are extremely proud to have received this prestigious award from Dan and JW Suckling Transport." Bauckham says that WG Davies came a very close second. Due to the workshop's exceptional performance, it received a runners up glass trophy on 21 February. Malcolm Jones, for the company, said he was very proud to receive the prize on behalf of WG Davies. BTS Engineering, in Grangemouth, came third.
