Manchester Airport fights fires with Oshkosh Global Strikers

Manchester Airport's Fire Service has taken delivery of six Oshkosh Global Striker vehicles, supplied by UK distributor Terberg DTS, as part of a £4.2 million investment into the airport fire operation.
The vehicles are equipped with the latest technology, including forward-looking infrared cameras and high reach extendable turrets (known as 'snozzles'), as well as more environmentally-friendly foam. Operator training was planned and carried out in advance so that the vehicles could go into service immediately on arrival.
