The dealer also took the Customer Service Dealer of the Year trophy, while head of truck sales Andrew Rennie was named truck sales manager of the year.
Speaking after the event, which was held at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel, in London, a delighted head of customer service Colin Birnie said: “These awards are testament to the huge strides we’ve made since taking over this franchise three years ago.”
Birnie credited the success to “massive investments” in improving its facilities, and in recruiting and training staff of the “highest calibre”.
Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles Aberdeen and Highland took on the manufacturer’s Truck and Van franchises for North and North-East Scotland in 2012, since when parent company TOM Vehicle Rental has underwritten the business transformation.
