This latest investment is said to ensure maximum flexibility in the workshop, enabling the team to adapt quickly to changing maintenance demands while making the best use of available floor space.
As a user of Stertil-Koni vehicle lifts, MC Truck & Bus already operates around 20 sets of mobile column lifts across its depots in the South East.
Each Stertil-Koni ST1085FWA mobile column lift has an 8.5-tonne lifting capacity, meaning a set of four can safely handle vehicles up to 34 tonnes. Designed for commercial vehicle workshops, these lifts support a range of maintenance tasks, improving turnaround times and ensuring vehicles remain road-ready.
One of the standout advantages of these lifts is their wireless design, which eliminates the need for cables, reducing trip hazards and cutting down on setup time. This streamlined approach not only enhances safety but also allows technicians to focus on the job at hand without unnecessary disruptions.
Efficiency is further boosted by Stertil-Koni’s ebright Smart Control System, a touch-screen interface that allows technicians to operate lifts individually or in sync, depending on the task at hand. This level of control gives MC Truck & Bus technicians the flexibility to work on different vehicle types with precision and ease.
The lifts are powered by deep-cycle batteries, which consume energy only during lifting. This feature reduces power usage and minimises downtime. Additionally, their adjustable-width forks accommodate a variety of vehicle tyre sizes, making them a versatile solution for the fleet at the depot.
With these vehicle lifts in place, MC Truck & Bus has reinforced its ability to deliver an efficient service - helping Asda maintain a reliable fleet and keep operations running smoothly.
