Aggregates supplier and waste management operator Mick George has taken delivery of two DAF FAD CF 400 trucks, custom designed for waste collection duties.
Supplied by dealer Ford & Slater, of Peterborough, the new additions are powered by the Paccar MX11 engine, driving through a ZF Traxon 12-speed automatic gearbox.
Both trucks are fully FORS compliant, with additional safety features such as nearside direct view passenger door window, rear and dash cameras, hard-drive recorders and cycle scanners.
The trucks also feature a 8x4 rigid chassis which is designed to fit with the Farid Hillend Engineering front end loader body.
The vehicles are supplied with a full R&M package.
