The depot now benefits from two ST4070-LV 4-Post lifts and one SK2055EFA 2-Post FreedomLift, providing enhanced safety, accessibility, and versatility for servicing a range of vehicles.
The compact design of the ST4070-LV 4-Post lift is expected to benefit workshops with limited space. With a low drive-on height of 160mm and short ramps, vehicles can be positioned quickly. The slim columns ensure accessibility, while the 630mm wide adjustable platforms accommodate various vehicle types, including minibuses, commercial vans, and light freight vehicles with twin rear wheels.
According to Stertil, technicians also benefit from a lifting height of over two metres, creating a comfortable working environment even for taller mechanics. The adjustable speed lowering valve allows for controlled vehicle descent, improving safety when working with axle stands or transmission jacks.
Designed to handle a range of vehicles - including long-wheelbase vans, electric vehicles, and camper vans - the SK2055EFA FREEDOMLIFT is said to deliver lifting precision. Its double-telescopic arms and hinged elbow joints ensure safe and efficient vehicle positioning, while its fast lifting speed - reaching 2045mm in 39 seconds -enhances workshop productivity.
With a baseless construction and no rigid overhead crossbars, mechanics gain unobstructed access to raised vehicles, making servicing easier and more efficient. It comes with built-in safety features, including an independent locking system, overload protection, and shielding for hydraulic and electrical components.
The lifts are supplied through CCS, a Stertil-Koni distributor.
