GT Radial has announced the arrival of new range of high-performance truck tyre patterns.
GSR220 is a new pattern for the steer axle position and is now available in 315/80R22.5, with 295/80R22.5 and 315/70R22.5 coming soon and other sizes currently in development.
GT says its new pattern is the result of a testing programme involving UK and European fleets, and delivering encouraging results when compared against the performance of leading premium manufacturer brands. It also demonstrated a significant cost per kilometer advantage.
Extra wide shoulder ribs feature, which deliver an even wear across the tread area, with an exceptionally high mileage performance. Moreover, a new casing construction provides the driver with improved comfort, excellent stability and low noise.
Coming soon is GDL617, a new drive axle pattern for long haul, which will be available in a variety of popular sizes. GT says its new generation drive axle tyre has good even wear properties and is delivering excellent mileage performance on fleet tests.
GDL617 features a compact tread and multi-sipe design, providing even wear and mileage run out, with a lower rolling resistance. It also benefits from M&S marking and is a non-directional pattern design.
