In total, the VRS portfolio now includes in excess of 100,000 lines of non-Scania OE or OE-quality components, all of which are offered with high availability for same or next day delivery.
VRS claims to work seamlessly with Scania’s own parts programme to provide a comprehensive single source of supply, with all products available through Scania’s UK network of 89 dealerships.
“VRS provides a fantastic opportunity both for mixed fleet operators maintaining their own vehicles as well as Scania’s own service network to reduce the number of suppliers needed to support their businesses,” says VRS manager Robert Smith.
“While operators benefit from finding everything they need under one roof, Scania dealers today offer a wide range of maintenance solutions that are not solely confined only to Scania vehicles,” he continues.
“In fact, more than 30% of the work carried out in Scania UK dealerships is non-Scania, so VRS serves our own network too.”
