The new Transport Manager CPC Road Haulage courses can also be used as a revision tool for those wishing to resit an exam module or to access extra revision before sitting the examinations for the first time.
Novadata also offers a full classroom-based Transport Manager CPC Road Haulage or Passenger Transport course, which includes sitting SEGA examinations, either in the classroom in paper format or remotely, using SEGA’s online proctored option.
Novadata director and trainer, Mark Lewin, said: “We see this as a logical addition to our range of courses, giving Transport Manager CPC Road Haulage candidates a wider range of approaches to study in preparation for their examinations.
“We appreciate that not everyone can commit a block of time sufficient to attend an eight-day course prior to taking the examinations; but this new approach will provide more support than solely studying alone, which can be quite challenging when added to a busy work schedule. Attending online courses ensures that candidates can access some expert training and support; helping them to make good progress towards obtaining the Transport Manager CPC Road Haulage qualification.”
The format for two of the new courses follows the multiple choice exam syllabus while the third one is structured as a case study examination.
The first course covers the basics of drivers’s hours law, driver licensing, business and company law and financial management. The second course is focussed on operator licensing, industrial relations, insurance and safe loading.
Finally, the third one-day course is geared towards preparation for the case study examination and covers vehicle costing and Drivers’ Hours scheduling.
All three courses are available to book on the Novadata website. These online courses are currently only available for the Road Haulage Transport Manager CPC qualification.
