The Maidenhead-based operator has a 145-strong fleet servicing laundries across the south of England, and business growth meant its existing system could not meet its future needs, as group transport manager Peter Cox explains: “It was not suited to the needs of a rapidly growing business like Clean, so I decided to switch to TruTac as I’d used it in a previous role and liked working with it.”
TruControl is simple to use, he says, with highly relevant reports. He also rates the web portal and dashboard functionality of the cloud-based system: “As well as being able to look up all the information I need directly, I can also drill down on our laundry site locations, and toggle between them, too,” says Cox.
The system enables Cox to monitor vehicle and driver activity. A key task, he says, is debriefing drivers after they complete their rounds: “The TruTac system is instantaneous, so I can look up a driver who’s just completed their route and instantly download data to check for any infringements... so we can debrief drivers straight away.”
As a bonus, says Cox, the switch to TruControl saved his business money: “TruTac gave us a cracking deal. They’re competitively priced and reliable as well – in fact, we’ve never had an outage yet.”
