Kenilworth-based Ridleys Coaches has taken delivery of its first new vehicle, a Volvo B11R – based on experience with its 20-strong all-Volvo fleet and on recommendation from other operators.
"We needed a new coach as a replacement and, in particular, we were looking for something that would meet our passenger capacity needs while offering excellent fuel consumption," states Jordan Ridley, managing director for Ridleys Coaches.
"While we did look at potential alternatives from other manufacturers, we really liked the look of the B11R."
The new coach has Sunsundegui SC7 bodywork, 53 seats and includes all the features expected by today's coach travellers.
