Airfreight haulage specialist Saints Transport has signed the largest ever retail order for used trucks through MAN's used truck programme, MAN TopUsed.
The deal involves a total of 60 MAN TGA 6x2 tractor units, which are now on a programmed delivery to the Heathrow-based operator.
When complete, the delivery will replace Saints's entire mixed fleet of DAF, Renault and Mercedes tractors with the MAN units.
"We've never made a secret of the fact that we're right behind the MAN brand," comments Piers Carroll, vice-chairman at Saints Transport.
"The TGA has always been a cracking truck and, with the MAN TopUsed seal-of-approval, we know this latest fleet really is as good as new," he adds.
"We've also never made a secret of the fact that we don't like AdBlue. It's simply an unnecessary additional cost and a real nuisance to administer. The vast majority of our vehicles are above 7.5 tonnes and we're quite happy to be an 'Add Nothing' truck fleet." he concludes.
