Trade Garage Equipment is bidding to raise confidence in the standards of garage and workshop services with its launch of a customer guarantee scheme.
Called 'Trade Approved', the scheme presents garages and workshops with a certificate to display, which verifies that they are using approved equipment and installations. It is available for single items of equipment, up to full site installation projects.
The scheme confirms that equipment is: installed by trained, GEA-accredited engineers; all CE-approved; used to standards defined by equipment manufacturers, ISO and VOSA (now DVSA); and supported by regular service and calibration schedules.
The scheme is supported by the Garage Equipment Association.
