With the return of the CV Show and Workshop next April, garage equipment is to take centre stage in Hall 4 of the NEC, Birmingham, according to organiser Crystal Communications.
Unipart Group's Garage Equipment Services is among the firs to book, returning to Workshop 2011 with a major island site, due to present many of its suppliers' latest equipment.
Shaun Wilson, Unipart marketing manager, says: "Previous experience of the Workshop Show proves that it enables us to reach both passenger car and commercial vehicle workshop operators at one time. As a full service one-stop shop, we are able to supply equipment from the smallest, hand-held diagnostic kit to a heavy truck lift."
Garage Equipment Association chief executive, Dave Garratt, believes business will be brisk, as garages nationwide gear up for an upturn. "It will be three years since the last CV Show. Since then, there have been so many developments and new products … that anyone involved in this sector quite simply cannot afford to miss it," he asserts.
"The CV Show and the Workshop area bring a unique audience to our stand, from major fleet workshops to vehicle test facilities," adds Stertil's Tony Edge. "No other UK event offers such a broad spectrum of visitor."
