Stertil Koni lifts support restoration of classic Jaguars

Restorations and bespoke car design and manufacture specialist Classic Motor Cars is now using several sets of Stertil Koni lifts at its Bridgnorth, Shropshire workshop.

The company recently added another two sets of Stertil Koni’s SK2030 two-post lifts to its existing set, as well as a 4,000kg capacity, four-post-wheel alignment lift and a 2,000kg jacking beam.

Nicholas Goldthorp, managing director of Classic Motor Cars, explains that the SK2030;s baseless design, folded steel columns and asymmetric positioning of the double-telescopic lifting arms allow workshop technicians unrestricted access to the underside of raised vehicles.

Providing a safe lifting capacity of 3,000kg and also enabling a low pick-up height of just 90mm, these lifts are also ideal for lifting sports cars such as E Type Jaguars, for restoration work.

“We were so pleased with the performance and reliability of our first SK2030 two-post lift that we had no hesitation in ordering another two sets,” states Goldthorp.

“Alongside our extensive work on classic Jaguars, our operation also extends to Bentley, Ferrari and Aston Martin plus many other prestigious vehicles,” he continues.

“These lifts give us the versatility and flexibility we need to ensure that we continue to provide unrivalled service to our discerning customers.”
