The WD-5P Hydraulic High Lift Wheel Dolly is designed to streamline the process of wheel removal and installation for commercial vehicles. It has a hydraulic system capable of handling wheel sizes ranging from 800 to 1200 mm, and is suitable for both single and dual wheels.
With a high load capacity of 500 kg, the dolly can handle the weight of heavy-duty wheels, making it the perfect solution for workshops of any size and fleet.
According to Stertil, the WD-5P Wheel Dolly minimises the manual effort required to lift and position heavy wheels, reducing the physical strain on technicians, leading to fewer injuries and less fatigue.
Hydraulic tilting forks and separate rollers for first and second wheels help in precise alignment, reducing the risk of damage to wheels or vehicles.
The dolly – which features retaining brackets, wheel brakes and foot protection – is expected to ensure safety of the operator and the stability of the wheel during removal and installation. The dolly comes with integral swivel castors and smooth-rolling wheels, making it easy to position and move around the workshop.
Additionally, the dolly has an open frame, allowing technicians to access wheel nuts and bolts.
The dolly includes an adjustable air gun lifting aid holder, allowing users to customise their setup.
