Stertil provides lift to Fork Truck Direct

Stertil Koni has supplied a 4.7m four-post lift capable of lifting three and four-wheel forklift trucks up to 12-tonne capacity to Fork Truck Direct in Essex.

The ST4120 heavy-duty 4-post lift is said to provide easily controlled and unrestricted lifting for 3 & 4-wheel FLT’s up to a height of 1.9 metres, which is reached in 90 seconds. A range of adjustable width platforms are available in lengths from 4.7 metres in this case, up to 10 metres for the longest version. Fork Truck Direct specified the lift complete with a third run-up and platform which enables 3-wheeled forklift trucks to be loaded and serviced on the lift platforms.

The design of the Stertil Koni ST4120 incorporates four hydraulic cylinder posts which can each lift 4,500kg. For safety, the lift encompasses a range of features, including an electronic synchronisation system that continuously monitors the position of all cylinders to ensure safe, smooth and level lifting and lowering. This is supported by a gravity-operated locking mechanism that prevents unexpected lowering. Also, the hydraulics system is protected by automatic pressure relief and hose burst valves.

Stertil Koni’s ebright Smart Control System allows the operation of the lift from a control box situated alongside the lift. Precise raising and lowering of vehicles is controlled by the patented eBright system, which features a colour touch-screen panel interface.

Chelmsford-based Stertil distributor Martin Boylan Garage Equipment conducted the sale.
