Eddie Stobart has agreed commercial terms for a major new distribution contract with soft drinks giant Britvic.
Under the terms of the agreement, which is still subject to contractual documentation, the logistics provider will handle ambient transport covering the whole of Britvic's primary manufacturing and distribution in the UK.
This is the first time Britvic has undertaken such a sizeable transport and logistics arrangement with a single provider, and it is the largest distribution contract awarded by the company in the UK. Eddie Stobart will undertake deliveries into the company's UK manufacturing plants and customer deliveries from several Britvic distribution centres.
