Logistics and supply chain business Suttons Group has signed a deal with Goodyear that will see KMax tyres fitted to 300 tractor units and 470 trailers.
Under the four-year contract, Suttons will also be supported by TruckForce, Goodyear's service network.
"We continuously look to see how we can add value and create a competitive advantage for our customers – ensuring our vehicles are maintained and specified to the highest standards is the first step in this process," says Chris Lloyd Roberts, Suttons' group procurement manager.
"Goodyear really understood this and put together a package that gives us both excellent products and a world-class service."
He describes the TruckForce offer as "a rigorous tyre management programme", saying this will minimise downtime and decrease the risk of disruption to customers' supply chains.
