TomTom's telematics business has acquired Fleetlogic, a leading fleet management service provider based in the Netherlands, for an undisclosed sum.
"The fleet management market in the Netherlands is an important and fast growing market in Europe," comments Thomas Schmidt, managing director of TomTom Telematics.
"Adding the experience of Fleetlogic in enterprise fleets and government sales, we now address the full potential of this growing market."
This acquisition includes the companies TripXs and Inalise and adds 27,000 subscriptions to TomTom Telematics' installed base.
Its total installed base now consists of more than 450,000 vehicles.
