Tow Show set for new Roger Dyson innovations

Vehicle recovery bodybuilder Roger Dyson will unveil the biggest accident unit it has ever built on a four-axle chassis, at the European Tow Show 2010, being held in Telford from 24 to 26 June.
The Hydraloader HR8000 SLa (Super-Low approach) slideback is built on a DAF 8x2 rear-steer sleeper cab chassis, and has an 8,000kg capacity steel bed that offers a loading angle of just 5 degrees. There is also a 4,000kg second vehicle lift and a 50-tonne/metre PM50025 five-extension crane that stretches to 12m and operates with a Dyson Hydra clamp damage-free lifting frame. A 14,000lb sliding platform winch and extra rear stabiliser jacks are also included, and the slidebed platform, second vehicle lift, crane and winch are all remote radio-controlled. This particular vehicle is destined for NY Recovery, of Snodland, Kent, a relatively recent convert to Dyson equipment, and has been completed in the company's colours and livery. Other vehicles appearing on the Roger Dyson stand will be a Euro 5 Fuso Canter 7.5-tonner with Double crewcab and a 6.5-tonne Iveco with one of the first Hydraloader HR2000 La (low approach) slidebacks to be fabricated from lightweight aluminium.
