TTC, has announced an extension to its grease product line-up.
As part of the improved range, a biodegradable fifth wheel grease is available, which, as well as being environmentally friendly, also has many other benefits too.
According to TCC, it is a durable, all-weather product, which can be used at temperatures below -20°C to and up to +149°C. It is also highly resistant to rain water, weathering, oxidation and heavy loads as it contains rust, corrosion and oxidation inhibitors.
The new grease also claims to have a long life, and be tenacious and compatible with existing lubricants. It also has a metal free formulation with polymer additives.
Sue Grainger, product manager at TTC says: "Our fifth wheel grease will break down harmlessly in the environment. It will not degrade in service, but any spillage that comes into contact with soil will do so. It is also resistant to road salt."
