The company has named its latest addition ‘Agy G’, after world arm-wrestling champion Agy Gorzynska, who it has sponsored for the last three years.
Supplied by dealer Thomas Hardie Commercials, the Manchester-based operator’s 3.9m wheelbase FMs are fitted with Volvo’s 11-litre engine rated at 330bhp and I-Shift automated gearboxes.
The trucks are also specified with Volvo’s Load Indicator and medium-height chassis for improved ground clearance, along with Farid T23 (23 cubic metre capacity) rear-loading compactor bodywork.
Fresh Start’s chief operator officer Peter Cooke (pictured, left, with Agy G) says the company returned to Volvo for this purchasing round after a 10-year absence, thanks to the competitive price, the seven-year Gold R&M contract and the customer service levels.
