Team manager Rebecca Smith says the new FH was a logical choice for the team transporter, as parent company Smiths (Gloucester) already operates Volvo trucks and recently purchased four for its fleet from the dealer.
"The livery looks great and is really striking," says Smth.
"The team driver loves the truck, too, especially the big cab and little touches like the luxury of the memory foam topper on the bunk and practicalities such as the fridge freezer. It's a real home from home for him."
For the 2015 season, Smiths Racing is competing with two successful young riders, Billy McConnell and Jake Dixon, in the British Superbike Championship and the British Supersport Championship.
The team will also compete in the Isle of Man TT, with two machines ridden by television superstar and island racing legend Guy Martin and Aussie star Dave 'Davo' Johnson.
