Customers can now book appointments with their local van centre from a computer, tablet or mobile device.
The system show the nearest van centre and customers simply select the type of work, date and drop-off time. Courtesy vehicles and collection and delivery options can also be arranged through the system.
A video feedback platform enables technicians to show any required work to customers via a video, speeding up the approval process for repairs required and, says VW, ensuring total transparency of the work undertaken.
Trevor Hodgson-Phillips, head of service and parts, says: “Businesses rely on their vans and these new tools are designed to help speed up the booking process as well as reduce any costly downtime.”
