The new Enviro400 each have 84 Lazzerini Pratico high-backed seats finished in leather and fitted with three-point belts, as well as an additional tip-up in the wheelchair bay. Passengers benefit from an air-chill system on the upper deck.
The drivers’ cab is air-conditioned, and a digital tachograph is provided alongside a radio and public address system. The buses are finished in the operator’s distinctive colour and will be used on private and school hires.
Managing director David West said: “Our existing Enviro400 have been hugely versatile vehicles. These two ultra-low emission additions allow us to further enhance our operations while continuing to offer a premium group transport solution. This latest pair of double-deckers allows us to replace earlier vehicles of the type, which have served us very well for the last eight years.”
Mark Taylor, regional sales manager for Alexander Dennis, said: “Westway continues to set standards for executive, corporate and private hire in Greater London and we are proud to support the company’s growth with this latest pair of Alexander Dennis Enviro400 double deckers. It has again been a pleasure to work with David and his team and we look forward to continuing our relationship.”
