Scania has revised and extended its Complete Vehicles range to offer more choice, flexibility and convenience for operators working in several industry sectors.
Two revised distribution rigid ranges – Scania Complete Box and Curtainsider, implemented with bodybuilding partner Cartwright Group – plus an all-new skiploader, join the existing built-up hookloader, wet kit tractor and Pet regs tractors, all under Scania's single source deal.
Martin Hay, UK truck sales director for Scania (GB), says that operators can now get exactly what they want, optimised for the transport task, as well as the convenience of vehicles delivered fully equipped and ready to go.
"They also enjoy the benefit of full manufacturers' warranties covering all equipment, and are fully supported by the Scania dealer network," states Hay.
As for the detail, the Scania Complete Box and Curtainsider range includes 18- and 26-tonne options, with a choice of Scania Euro 5 EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) engines, optionally matched to the Opticruise automated gear-selection system.
Based on the P-series chassis, the cabs can be specified in short, day or sleeper format, with wheelbases from 4,700mm for a 4x2, to 6,100mm for a 6x2/4 rear-steer 26-tonner, plus a range of bodywork options and column and tuckaway tail-lifts.
Meanwhile, the new Skiploader is also based on the P-series, available in day- or short-cab variants, using the Hyva design, and with the same engine and transmission offerings.
The equipment is Hyva's NG2012XL, with extendable arms and a lifting capacity of 12-tonnes retracted and eight-tonnes extended. Independently operated telescopic jack legs and a fast off-load function are also all part of the deal.
