European Braking Systems opens new facility in Manchester

Commercial vehicle component manufacturer European Braking Systems (EBS) has opened a new remanufacturing and technical centre in Trafford Park, Manchester.

The 5,000m2 facility offers remanufacturing for brake callipers, compressors and air valves and, says the company, has led to a 70% increase in production.

The site was officially opened earlier this month by Sir Graham Brady, MP for Altrincham and Sale West (pictured, right, with EBS chief executive Mark Luby).

EBS employs 80 people in Manchester, with other group companies located in Essex, Dublin and Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
