To help us achieve our vision of 'taking responsibility for the water environment for good' we currently have a vacancy for a Fleet Car Controller who will be responsible for contract management of the company car provision and car fleet management contracts.
Fleet Car Controller Bradford, West Yorkshire £26,000 - £33,392 Ref: 2484 As a Fleet Car Controller you will have the responsibility for managing over 700 company cars working with both vehicle manufactures and lease providers who provide those cars to all Kelda Group. You will provide strong management to ensure policy and costing options are complied with including contract terms and conditions whilst exploring and evaluating alternatives and regularly benchmarking and validating providers against industry norms. The ideal candidate will have experience of providing advice and assistance on car best practice typically on personal issues regarding car choice, taxable benefits and user guidance regarding compliance with the company road risk policy. The role will involve compliance with Yorkshire Water Services and the leasing company contracts and will also ensure the vehicle choice options are managed to reduce the environmental impact to both the company and driver and ensure company high risk insurance vehicles are excluded. You will be responsible for ensuring the MID Database (Motor Insurance Database) is maintained and all other all statutory payroll/tax liability issues are 100% correct. You will provide robust financial management and use commercial awareness as the foundation of all business decisions in conjunction with environmental impact of company vehicles. You will be highly skilled and experienced within the leasing and vehicle manufacturing arena encompassing all aspects of car leasing and the environmental legislation impacting on car taxation. You will also be a National CPC Holder as the post holder is also a named CPC holder on the company 'O' Licence in order to enable you to have accountability for the company 'O' Licence along with other fleet team members. The successful applicant will be able to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships and also have experience of supporting and embedding change whilst also being able to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours. You will have a technical background and corporate membership of SOE IRTE and will hold a C+ E LGV licence.
