As a Fleet Engineer you will fully own strategic and tactical management of engineering as well as ensuring front line delivery at two locations, improving productivity, reducing costs and managing change. You will ensure best practice while creating a strong workforce and an effective maintenance regime.
In an environment of continuous utilisation of vehicle assets, high level service requirements and significant capital investment, this fast paced role requires a mix of quick reaction, often hands on involvement, as well as proactivity and innovation. Are you up to the mark?
As valuable as an engineering qualification will be your experience either within the bus industry or within a heavy vehicle engineering environment.
A strong communicator and influencer, not bound by precedent or accepted practice, you will be keen to try new things. Your background, preferably in transportation, will have familiarised you with unionised environments.
