You'll oversee every site, checking that vehicles are serviced and maintained to the highest standards. You'll also help our engineering managers to progress and hit targets. There'll be suppliers and manufacturers to meet, plus Health & Safety to think of. Plus you'll be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are prepared for annual testing, according to VOSA requirements. Experience in the field is therefore vital.
You should have worked with large passenger vehicles before and ideally gained your PCV licence (although this is not essential). We'll also be looking for customer-focus, good communication skills and the willingness to work shifts, including nights.
Well presented and able to work without supervision, you'll thrive in our fast-paced environment.
National Express is the UK's largest scheduled coach service. We have more than 1,600 vehicles, and they cover more than 65 million miles to reach 1,000 destinations across England, Scotland and Wales each year. What's more, we believe in giving our people the best of everything, from training to benefits.
Up to £45,000 plus car allowance of £4,200, plus pension and benefits
