An opportunity has arisen in the Technical Support Department. This is a busy and demanding role working at a fast pace dealing with the resolving day to day technical enquiries, customer complaints and any other service requests relating to the department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To achieve all company and personal KPI's within given responsibilities
• To develop and maintain an ongoing working relationship with Munich Technical Support Department. (SAS)
• To monitor and record any non-conformance of the quality systems and implement and record the required corrective and preventative action within the area of responsibility
• To actively use the Service Support Desk system for technical reporting and warranty issues.
• To communicate, where necessary, with Regional Technical & Customer Support Engineers/ National Accounts General Managers and Network Staff, to resolve technical issues.
• To assist where required in providing technical information and advice to dealers and customers.
• To resolve customer complaints to the satisfaction of the customer and the Company within the given KPI's.
• To produce reports and case histories in respect of product failure
• To provide all holders of MAN-CATS/Cummins systems with technical support.
• To attend when required, MAN product and personal training courses.
• To provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
* Excellent technical knowledge of the automotive industry and understanding of repair times, costs and operations
* Excellent administrative skills and abilities in computer systems use
* Excellent customer liaison skills and telephone manner
* Effective negotiation skills
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience from the automotive industry. (Preferably an Engineering qualification or served Technical Apprenticeship). You will be from an office based customer service environment with a Passion for going above and beyond client expectations.
