Container transport and haulage business MacIntyre Transport has taken delivery of the first Renault Range T 460.25 6x2 TML E6 for its Felixstowe operation.
This is the first Euro 6 truck to join the company's 155-strong mixed fleet, with MacIntyre Transport managing director Paul Miller stating that it was the right time to try one out.
"Although we normally lease over three or four years, we decided that a 24-month lease gave us enough time to evaluate the Range T in operation," states Miller.
"It will be covering 1,400 to 1,600 miles per week, and we expect good fuel returns," he adds.
The new truck has been fitted with full air management kit and comes with Renault's Fuel Eco pack to drive fuel efficiency, with features including a five-month free trial of the Optifleet telematics solution.
The Range T was supplied by Renault Trucks Felixstowe on a two-year lease.
