A new partnership between tail-lift manufacturer DEL Equipment and bodybuilder Bevan Group is promising improved service for operators using DEL's kit.
As well as bespoke service contracts, DEL customers will now be able to sign-up to extended warranties from three to five years.
Bevan's engineers already have experience of maintaining DEL tail lifts, but are now receiving additional, product-specific training and carrying more of DEL's parts on their service vans.
Martin Saint, DEL's managing director, says the deal with Bevan will deliver full 'cradle-to-grave' support for customers.
DEL's turnover has reached a record high – it sold more than 6,500 column, tuck-under and wheelie bin lifts last year, and anticipates this figure rising to 8,000 by 2015.
Bevan Group will continue to fit various brands of tail lift to the dry freight and temperature-controlled vehicle bodies it builds for customers at its West Midlands factories, but will recommend DEL lifts where appropriate.
