Jiffy Trucks adds Isuzu Grafter to the menu

Catering vehicle maker Jiffy Trucks has added the Isuzu Grafter to its portfolio to replace the Nissan Cabstar.

Called the Jiffy Banquet, the vehicle is based on Isuzu’s Grafter Green N35.125 3.5-tonne rigid and is the first time the Bradford-based vehicle maker has worked with Isuzu Trucks.

The Grafter Green launch was “perfect timing”, according to Jiffy’s managing director John Briggs.

“The 3.5-tonne truck is the most popular selling vehicle in our product range as it enables customers to have the opportunity for a much larger body for display,” he says.

“Initial customer reaction to the addition of the Isuzu Grafter Jiffy Banquet has been extremely good, and we estimate that we should be selling well over 40 of these trucks in the first year alone.”

The first three have been delivered to Merseyside business 2U Food, as part of a six-strong order.
