Renault Batilly plant makes milestone Master

Telecoms and IT business TP Teltech has taken delivery of a milestone Renault Master – the 2,500,000th light commercial vehicle to roll off the line at Renault’s Batilly plant, in eastern France.

The front-wheel-drive Master L3H2 was handed over to representatives of Poland-based TP Teltech at a ceremony at the factory.

More than half of the operator’s 850-strong fleet is made up of Renault models.

Batilly is reportedly the world’s biggest manufacturing facility for this type of van. The French site specialises in the production of big vans for Renault and its manufacturing partners – Renault Trucks, Nissan and General Motors.

The facility is one of three Renault LCV factories in France: two-thirds of its output is the Renault Master. It also makes the NV400 for Nissan and Movano for Opel/Vauxhall.
