The new Masters, equipped with 129bhp engine, with long wheelbase and H2 roof, have been converted into ambulances by Code Blue and will work all over the UK for its client, Ambulance Transfers.
“The dimensions make the vehicle particularly good as a base for ambulances, both emergency and non-emergency,” explains Chris Manfield, Code Blue’s managing director.
“As well as being the correct size, the Master offers a decent post conversion payload of 750kg and its price versus durability is exceptional. The aftersales support from Renault Trucks is extremely good too, which prevents unnecessary down time for our customers.”
Code Blue was formed four years ago, when Manfield spotted a gap in the market for quality emergency vehicles at affordable prices, and the business now converts more than 50 Master vans each year. It also buys Master chassis cab variants to convert into modular box ambulances.
“We have dealt with Sparks Commercial Services since our inception; the support we get from them is second to none,” he adds.
