Rygor technician graduates gain IRTE irtec accreditation

Six apprentice technicians employed by Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle dealer Rygor have now graduated from the German giant’s UK vehicle technician apprenticeship programme.

They are Matt Gabbini, Ryan Davis, Liam Margary, Matthew Vaisey, Ryan Evans and Niall Neale, all of whom embarked on the three-year apprenticeship back in 2013.

Rygor – which announced earlier this year that it is putting all workshop technicians at every one of its 20-plus branches through the IRTE’s irtec technician licensing scheme – has also done the same for its new graduates.

“It is our commitment to our team that we invest in their expertise, so they have the knowledge and competence to carry out their roles to the highest level,” states Paul Reed, owner-director at Rygor.

“Our customers can therefore be sure that highly trained technicians are working on their vehicles,” he continues.

“Building and developing confident team members is of the highest importance and we look forward to continuing to welcome apprentice technicians to the company and seeing them fulfil their potential at Rygor.”
