Supertrucks takes Van Equipment Company of the Year prize

Supertrucks has won Fleet Van's Van Equipment Company of the Year 2010 award for its innovative engineering and quality.
Receiving the award at a ceremony in London, Peter Wright, Supertrucks' chairman, commented: "This award means a lot to Supertrucks, as it provides tangible recognition of our hard work over 29 years. We have always taken great pride in our innovation and quality and it is very satisfying to see the company's strengths rewarded in this way." Supertrucks is best known for its external and internal glass, window and door-carrying racking systems that fit virtually any make and model of panel van in up to 3.5 tonnes gvw. However, the company also produces coach-built bodies for the glass trade on chassis cabs up to 3.5 tonnes gvw – the latest being a 3.5 tonne gvw low-loading coachbuilt glass carrying vehicle, based on a Citroën Relay or other front-wheel drive cab unit. Wright also says that Supertrucks is now manufacturing an ultra-low loading, high capacity van for the dry freight sector, again based on the Citroën Relay or similar vehicle, with 20m3 load volumes.
