Following its launch at the Commercial Vehicle Show, Whale Tankers has taken the CityWhale range on the road, demonstrating the vehicle to prospective Scottish buyers at the recent APSE (Association for Public Service Excellence) event in Aviemore.
The CityWhale is a range of vehicles offering both jetting and suction capability in one package, and is designed for urban operation. The range is jointly developed by Whale and its French partner Baroclean.
"The ability of the CityWhale Micro to perform in restricted areas and the fact it can be driven on a non-HGV licence was of great interest to many of the prospective Scottish buyers we met and spoke with," says Alan Steel, Whale's regional manager for Scotland.
Next stop is the Tank-Ex event in Harrogate, 29-30 May, followed by PAWRS in Paignton on 10-12 June.
