Nottingham City Transport is the principal local bus operator in Nottingham. We are well-known and have a reputation for high quality service and operate a fleet of circa 350 vehicles from three locations, extending south to Loughborough and north east to Southwell.
Joining us as a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will take full responsibility for maintaining the highest service standard for our fleet including safety, environmental, efficiency, maintenance and legal compliance issues, whilst controlling a large and diverse workforce.
To be successful, you will have extensive large fleet experience, be able to manage change in a complex business environment and possess first class engineering skills. With an excellent record of achieving safe and cost effective engineering provisions, you will possess the ability to prepare and control budgets in excess of £2m and manage collective bargaining.
As a CPC "O" Licence Holder, SOE (IRTE) or equivalent, you will preferably be educated to degree standard and have a flexible approach, together with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
