Take our vehicle fl eet and plant operations up a gear. We need you to ensure the effi cient and cost-effective operation of our vehicle fl eet and plant in line with legal, regulatory, and council standing orders. It's a chance to make your mark as you deputise for the Fleet Manager and lead our Workshop Managers and other staff. Able to balance the need for value for money with customer satisfaction, you will oversee procurement processes whilst setting and monitoring ambitious performance targets for safety, productivity, and value for money. You'll also put your knowledge of a broad range of vehicles, machines, tools, and equipment to good use.
You will be a time served commercial vehicle technician with substantial post-qualifi cation experience, and have recognised vocational qualifi cations equivalent to City and Guilds Level 4.
Currently working in a fl eet-based role, you'll be strong on managing workshops with a Certifi cate of Professional Competence for road haulage. Known for your commercial awareness and fi nancial management skills, you will be keen to take a challenging role in a beautiful part of the country.
