Band 4 – Up to £36,862 (including, London allowance, recruitment & retention payment and shift allowances, excluding overtime)

This role attracts a generous annual leave entitlement starting at 27 + 8 bank holiday days and rising to 33 + 8 bank holiday days and an employer’s pension contribution of 20.6%.

The London Ambulance Service NHS Trust (LAS) is a unique and complex emergency service network serving a diverse population and responding to 1.8 million emergency calls per year.

Demands on urgent and emergency care providers across the capital are increasing, and the Trust is developing new innovative services to provide care closer to home for patients.

These demands create opportunities for the Fleet Team to demonstrate how we can add value to this hugely rewarding
organization within the health sector.

The Fleet function is committed to change and are commencing a journey to help the organisation meet its strategic ambitions. In order to succeed the team takes pride in the responsibilities associated with managing a diverse fleet of around 1,100 vehicles.

This is an exciting time for LAS Fleet with the evolution of alternative power trains we need competent, trained and enthusiastic fleet professionals to help us as we modernise and evolve in this ever changing environment.

The post holder’s main purpose will be to service, repair and maintain a diverse fleet of vehicles and specialist ambulance
equipment to emergency service standards, using the requisite skills and expertise in line with current Health and Safety
legislation, Manufacturer’s guidelines and Trust Policy.
