Aebi Schmidt's Swingo 200 street cleaning vehicles are to have Hankook's Vantra LT tyres fitted as original equipment.
Andy Reilly, technical manager at Aebi Schmitt, says that robustness was a key attribute, given that much of the company's street cleaners' time is spent in the roadside gutter.
"We wanted a high-quality tyre that would be long-lasting and durable," he says.
"Hankook's Vantra tyre claimed to offer just that and, so far, we've been extremely pleased with its performance."
Chris Baxter, technical services manager at Hankook Tyre, adds: "The Swingo 200 is used by local authorities across the country, so we're extremely proud that the Hankook Vantra has been chosen as factory approved fitment.
