Bulk haulage operator Allan Morris has selected Hankook Tyre to supply the tyres for its 27-strong fleet of Scania trucks.
The Chester-based haulier was offered what it describes as an unrivalled service and support package by Hankook, whose tyres will now be fitted to the company's 41 tipper and walking floor trailers, as well as its tractor units.
The Allan Morris fleet will not only use the all-position AH22+, drive axle DH05 and dedicated TH22 trailer tyre, but will also fit the new Alphatread, bead-to-bead retread DH05 and TH22 as they become available.
"We always choose suppliers based on quality and service over price, and the personal touch that Hankook and the company's local dealer were offering provided just that," comments Brian Lee, director of Allan Morris Transport.
"Our trucks cover thousands of miles each week, so we need to be sure that they are fitted with the best quality tyres," he adds.
