Independent brewer Joseph Holt has taken delivery of a new Volvo FL-250, 4x2 rigid dray-wagon to meet its busy festive delivery schedules in the North West.
Supplied by dealer Thomas Hardie Commercials, the Manchester-based operator’s latest addition is plated at 18 tonnes gvw and features a six-speed I-Sync automated transmission and rear-view camera to assist with deliveries to restricted access sites.
The curtainside bodywork was built by Don Bur of Stoke-on-Trent, with livery depicting the firm’s award-winning beers and lagers. And, in a first for the fleet, the new vehicle features a Dhollandia tuck-away tail-lift.
The truck is expected to be in operation for 15 years.
